What We Do

We are pilots, lawyers, engineers, and investors who got tired of watching the aviation brokerage industry operate like it’s still 1997.

We believe aircraft transactions should be as sharp as the people making them. S9 exists because the industry disagreed, and we took that as a green light.

We don't double-end transactions. Ever. When we represent a buyer, we represent the buyer. When we represent a seller, we represent the seller. No split loyalties, no quiet conflicts, no broker collecting a check from both sides of the table. We're usually buy-side, which means our job is to protect your capital, question everything, and walk away from a bad deal before you have to ask us to. Your outcome is the only one we're optimizing for.
When we brought tech-enabled workflows and a modern legal framework to aircraft transactions, the industry told us that's not how things are done. We took that as confirmation we were onto something. S9 was built on tools and processes the old guard hasn't adopted because they haven't had to. We have. The result is faster closings, cleaner structures, and a level of transparency that legacy brokerages treat as a threat. We treat it as the baseline.

Stratus 9 is founded. A crew of aviation professionals, attorneys, and operators launch S9 with a simple premise: aircraft transactions should be clear, fair, and efficient.

Growing the network. Our brokerage and charter operations scale nationwide, with operator partnerships and a growing roster of high-profile clients across entertainment, tech, and finance.

First charter operations. We expand into shared charter under Part 380, providing by-the-seat private travel for music festivals and corporate events.

Special missions launch. We formalize our special missions capability, handling last-minute, high-stakes flight coordination for touring artists and time-sensitive corporate travel.
